The most common engine failure we see is fuel system failures. The fuel system originated in the late 1930's, the engine was never designed to run on unleaded gas, or ethanol fuels. The system is one of the simplest designs; the fuel tank is mounted above the carburetor, and no additional fuel pump is necessary.
