Millermatic 35 Mig Gun Replacements With Adaptors
The original Millermatic 35 was one of the greatest mig welding marketing ideas that changed the whole welding industry. It was priced very competitively, and the whole system came in one box. You open the box, roll out the welder, it had it's own cart/bottle rack. Install the mig gun, add a bottle of gas (it came with its own regulator/flowmeter). Load a spool of wire (all of which takes about 30 minutes. It is powered by 240 volt single-phase power; all you need is a 50 amp breaker (the same size breaker for a standard hot water heater and normal cooking ranges.
The machine was designed to burn 0.250/ 0.030/ 0.045" wire, the most common welding wire sizes. To control costs, they had a mechanical gas valve; it worked! Why did they drop it? Nobody knows, but they did. In all, the newer machines came with an internal gas solenoid. That is why you find abandoned Millermatic 35 all over; broken mig guns.
The Weldmart Millermatic Mig gun upgrade kit, fixes the problem and allows you to keep you Millermatic 35 for the resrt of your life. This machine is as totally analog machine. Unless you you nave the spot/stick modlue, There are no PC boards that fail. Rheostats, relays, bridge rectifiers, taht are avaiable on the open market. The Bodine gear motor can be rewound, I have personally had two rewired in the last 40 years.
In short it works and can be maintaned for the forseeable future.

The Mig gun includes the following.

1. Euro quick-disconnect adapter, with mounting hardware.

2. New gas solenoid with hose barbs and mounting hardware.

3. We recommend a 180-amp MIG gun. We sell the Profax, Tweco Style, 180 gun. Weldmart warrants the gun for defects in workmanship and materials. If you screw it up, Man up. I have every bolt, nut, plastic part, switch, liner, and individual parts for the connector on the shelf. If something is damaged, we can fix it!
