Repair parts for the Continental F-series engines are becoming increasingly hard to find. I have seen F163 in constant service for over fifty years with no oil leaks -still operational, in a Miller Big 40! The basic engine design goes back to the late 1929's. The engine is a low RPM; it rarely runs over 1800 RPS and then for very short durations. Clean air, lots of clean oil, lots of clean water/antifreeze, is all you need!
