The machine is one of the simplest, most reliable, and most maintainable Mig welders ever produced. I have been working on welding machines since 1971. I have never seen a major component failure in these. 
 
Until 2017, Tweco made an adapter for these units; I sold hundreds of them in my original kit. After Tweco deserted me, I was stuck for about a month, until I came up with an idea. I found a source of Euro-style connectors; we modify them in-house as part of our kit. The kit comes with a new adapter, gas solenoid, and gun. With our kit, you should be able to keep the machine for the rest of your life.
