LINCOLN ELECTRIC HAS OBOLETED THIS VERY POPULAR REPAIR ITEM

I'M VERY INDEBTED TO LINCOLN ELECTRIC, THESE COILS ARE SO CHEAPLY MADE, SHORT OF USING PLASTIC WIRE, CAN'T THINK OF CHEAPER WAY TO MANUFACTURE A DC COIL. THEY USE ALUMINUN WIRE (NOTHING WRONG WITH ALUMINUN WIRE IF IT IS SIZED CORRECTLY FOR THE APPLICATION. THE WINDINGS ARE WOUND ON A SHEET METAL FORM, INSULATED WITH PAPER, AND COATED WITH SOMETHING RE.

THEY ARE SO CHEAP WE CANNOT SPEND THE TIME AND FUEL TO SEND THEM TO THE SCRAP YARD!

Weldmart "Ezzee Idler Upgrade" System

The Weldmart Centurion PC board is the most advanced and easiest board to troubleshoot. Three different colored LED indicate status of the board.

The board can be used with a Reed Switch or with the "Hall-Effect Sensor" mounted in the right had corner of the board a simple wire takes the place of the reed switch.

With power to the board, you test the board by passing a small magnet over the Hall Effect Sensor, if the board is good, it will switch from low idle to high welding speed. No meters, no test lights, no guessing!

To check your idler solenoid, with power on, remove the wire on terminal 4 adn touch it to on if the mounting bolts. You get a small spark and hear the solenoid "pull-in".
