The Profax AEC Miller-style spool gun is the answer to your spool gun needs. The gun features an internal, repairable mechanical gas valve located in the handle. The positive welding power leads through the opening on the front of the machine, or we will attach the proper welding lead plug for your power supply. Just let us know. The gas hose comes with a standard brass fitting that fits most standard regulators/flowmeters.

Suppose you own a Miller, Compac, or an older Thermal Dynamics mig machine with this amphenol-style receptacle. This gun plugs directly into your machine, enabling plug-and-weld functionality. If you have any questions, check it for yourself. With an AC voltmeter, check for 24 volts (or higher) between pins A & G. With a paperclip, short pins A & B, it's only 24 volts, it won't hurt you. You should measure the full open-circuit voltage (between the electrode lead and the ground lead). This is a fast and easy way to check your power supply.

Why you should consider the Profax AEC-200 spool over the Miller 30A?
