The one tool that will generate profits faster than any other!
Systematics/Snap-on single-phase MIG machines have been manufactured since the late 1980s—they are straightforward and dependable. It's what I call an analog machine; you set it and weld. They have one easily repairable PC board that controls the speed.
Snap-On MHG5B, SPOOL GUN: $2180.00

Price listed on Snap-on Website 9/2-2025
They offer a spool gun for aluminum welding only. If you're interested, we can order one for you; however, please note that it won't be compatible with welding steel, stainless steel, or flux core wire. The factory warranty is 90 days, and the consumables are expensive; I do not stock them. There is not enough dealer profit to justify keeping a good stock of consumables and repair parts. Check with the Snap-On dealer.
Unmatched Reliability: Viper Spool Guns with Proven Track Record

We here at Weldmart have been selling out "Viper" spool guns for over five years. They come standard with a one-year warranty against material and assembly defects. We have never done any warranty work on the guns we have sold. This gun will push any alloy you can get on a standard 4" spool. It uses ordinary #4 Tweco mig gun consumables. Tweco is one of the most popular styles of mig guns in North America. In theory, any "welding supply" should be able to help you.
To install, remove your MIG gun, plug in the Viper gun, and connect the control wire to your machine. Then, "rock ' n ' roll". You control the wire feel speed on the power supply.

If your Snap-On or Systematics MIG machine has this MIG gun style connector, our Spool gun will work.
It's simple: remove your Snap-On MIG gun, insert the spool gun into the MIG gun opening. Unplug the red plastic plug located inside your machine above the wire feed motor, and then plug in the spool gun plug. As shown in the image on the right.
The power supply provides welding power and shielding gas
control, and motor speed control, just like using your steel
mig gun.

Our spool gun used standard and/or heavy-duty Tweco-style #4 (14 series) MIG gun consumables. You should be able to purchase consumables at any welding supply.
This is the standard consumable breakdown. All 14 series Tweco style consmables, Avaiable anywhere welding supplies are sold.
