The original Continental F-series engine came on the market in the late 1920s. These include the Engine Models F124, F135, F140, used in Lincoln and Miller welders, as well as the F162 and F163.
F-4 SERIES This refers to the following engine models;
F124, F4124, F135, F140, F4140, FA140, F162, F4162,
FA162 & F163. FS145, FS162 & FS4145 are military models that
fall into the F-4 series with minimal parts availability.
The F-4 series late models are the F-135 and F-163.
