If you have a Lincoln gasoline welding machine with an octagonal barrel and a Continental F163, this is the replacement starter for it. The starter motor, solenoid, and Bendix are all Delco OEM originals. What made the starter special was its unique nose, which is no longer available. I would definitely recommend this starter over the cheap Denso Chinese imports. I have seen these starters last for 40 years on machines; they are rebuildable. Our problem is that cores are becoming very, very hard to find. I will need your core back to rebuild, or we'll have to charge you a core charge.
