Weldmart shunt coils (top and bottom) are identical. Lincoln has obsoleted this item.
Weldmart shunt coils are for THE machine for the following code numbers: 10890
Original Lincoln coils were very cheaply made, with aluminum wire painted to look like copper, wound on a sheet-metal bracket, and covered with paper insulation.
Weldmart's version of these coils is wound on a rigid, industrial plastic one-piece "bobbin"; the mold to make this bobbin cost $30,000 30 years ago. It will not absorb moisture.
These coils are sold with an "across the counter" warranty for 10 years. When we install them in our shop, we extend that warranty to "lifetime for the original purchaser".
