Weldmart shunt coils (top and bottom) are identical. The "rumor on the street" is that Lincoln has obsoleted this item.  Weldmart Copper Shunt Coils are direct replacements for Lincoln part numbers: 9SL1741-82 and 9SL1741-83 the coils are identical. Lincoln just wants to screw with you.

Weldmart shunt coils are for diesel powered machines for the  following code numbers: 12423, 11902, 12683, 12684, 12546, 12267, 12459, 12543, 12683, 11906, 11907, 12547, 12268, 12547, 12584, 12162, 12629, and 11948 (Red-D-Arc D300k 3+3 SE).

Original Lincoln coils were very cheaply made, with aluminum wire painted to look like copper, wound on a sheet-metal bracket, and covered with paper insulation. 

Weldmart's version of these coils is wound on a rigid, industrial plastic one-piece plastic injected bobbin.

These coils are sold with an "across the counter" warranty for 10 years.  

Our custom shunts are a special order item, we strive to be as accurate as possible. If there is any question about our product please call us. The shunts are made up to order and are dependent on availability of raw material so there may be a delay in shipment. All orders will be notified when product has shipped.
