Here is where you come to fine help with your Lincoln Classic 1 Code # 11902 / 12684
The Lincoln lassic 1 was the LAST in a long line of Lincoln gasoline engine-drive machines with DC welding power, auxiliary AC. If the truth be known, it is a 250-amp machine at 100% duty cycle at 250 amps and 60% duty cycle at 300 amps. Unless you're running large wire on long welds, it doesn't mean squat! In my humble opinion, this appears to be an excellent machine. You can run about any size rod; it has enough output power to run most wires, not enough to arc gouge with 1/4" (you need a steady 400 amps CC).

Lincoln's most significant challenge (besides cost) is the EPA. At 1800 RPMs, it just barely makes the cut, with the Feds. The is an carburetored engine. If you have one of these jewels, you need a spare module (non-repairable).
